On the women’s Day and Seeking to enhance women role in the community The Kurdish Red Crescent KRC, Noodm for disabled people with Shleer committee for Childhood Protection launched an initiative ,under the name of “Wings of Hope”, to distribute motor aids for people in needs, with the aim of raising the community awareness and supporting this group . Taking into consideration that the first stage of this initiative has targeted about 330 persons. There will be more activities concerning the women’s Day.

The Nursery and First Aid course organized by the Nudem for Humanitarian Development and Rehabilitation for the Persons With Disabilities in the Nudem office in the city of Qamishlo came to an end. The course lasted a month on average two hours each session ( practical and theoretical) under the supervision of anaesthetist Hani Husam.The course included: The way of providing health care for individual and community, the way of dealing with burns, First Aids rules, health awareness, blood draw, catheterization and blood pressure measurement. Nudem for Humanitarian Development and Rehabilitation for the Persons With Disabilities . a course was organized by Nudem focusing on skills relevant to children diagnosed with autism. The course was conducted under trainer Fadel Mohamed.The course was attended by 15 trainees who, in the course of two days, were able to acquire skills and be informed on :1-Autism tenets2-Symtops of children diagnosed with autism3-Diagnosys means4-Guiding measures that lead to treatment

Under (Psychological Health) Nudem for Humanitarian Development and Rehabilitation of Persons With Disabilities carried out in coordination with Ciyan for Human Rights a session concentrating on psychological support supervised by social worker Niroz Mohamed.The session was divided into several axes; the importance of referral, red signs alarms, reasons of disorders, misconceptions in society regarding psychological therapy, way of giving psychological and social support. The aim is to create a space of mutual interaction between society and families of Persons With Disabilities.

The campaign aims to shed light on the persons in question and define their rights for more safe movement and to facilitate their integration into society and to determine populated areas according to standards of their concerns as well to stand up to obstructions that may deter them to practice their activities normally. On the Intentional Day for Persons with Disabilities Nudem for Humanitarian Development and Rehabilitation in coordination with the Traffic Police in the city of Qamishlo launches a campaign to put traffic signs to help guide these persons.
