Mother, Love can’t be spoken, cannot be written, won’t leave anyone behind. On World Down Syndrome Day and Mother’s Day on the 21st of March, NODEM distributed several toys and gifts to 12 children and honored 12 mothers of children with Down syndrome. This is to promote and support Nodem’s message in consolidating children with special needs into their society through social interaction between all children with all shades and colors and draw joy and happiness on the faces of children and their mothers. Brochures were also distributed to a number of neighborhoods in Qamishlo to raise awareness about this category.
